Amazing ovation sound !!!!

I just bought an Ovation Celebrity Elite CE44-4-G, so far it was the first time i experience this brand and I am delighted with all the aspects of this instrument. The sound is amazing on my Fender mustang amp, it is different unplugged, well still acceptable, i guess, i won't send it back to Thomann. The finitions are great, just tune it and start to play as i receive it. Nothing i will change in the setup of the neck and strings. The amplification system is perfect, the round shape of the bowl makes it rude to handle on a chair, it moves away easily from the body if you sit down to practice. I wish to suggest Thomann to put more informations about the strings set on the ovation celebrity and others. It will be helpful. Great guitar, i like it much.

Received the guitar today. As expected, it didn’t male me disappointed as the sound, especially in electric, is awesome 😍
I do appreciate the delivery of Thomann. They are as they promise.

Not only a great looking guitar but a great sound. Changed the original strings to diadarrio and dropped the bridge slightly. I now have a great sounding guitar at a great price. I have had Epiphone and Gibson previously but never had the tone that this pruduces.

Ho acquistato questa chitarra per curiosità, da sempre attirato dal modello e dalla particolarità del fondo e dal multi hole al posto della classica buca centrale... l’intenzione era quella di usare la chitarra in diretta al mixer sfruttando l’amplificazione.
Devo dire che sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dal suono acustico dello strumento, veramente ricco e dinamico, ad ogni variazione della plettrata il suono cambia in potenza e sonorità, mettendo in luce le frequenze in modo molto definito.
Sul suono amplificato niente da dire, il classico suono ovation che tutti conoscono e apprezzano.
La chitarra si presenta di buona fattura, un Made in China che non lascia spazio a sbavature. Tasti ben installati e finiture ben fatte.
Fuori dalla scatola la chitarra si presenta intonata e con un’action ben settata, insomma pronta da suonare senza problemi.
A questo punto mi domando come sia la qualità USA, se le asiatiche sono già ad alti livellli!

Kíváncsiságból vásároltam ezt a gitárt, mindig is vonzott a modell és a hátlap sajátossága és a több lyuk a klasszikus középső furat helyett... az volt a szándékom, hogy a gitárt közvetlenül a keverőnél használjuk az erősítéssel. Azt kell mondanom, hogy kellemesen meglepett a hangszer akusztikus hangzása, igazán gazdag és dinamikus, a válogatás minden egyes variációjával változik a hangerő és a hangzás, nagyon határozottan kiemelve a frekvenciákat. Nincs mit mondani a felerősített hangzásról, a klasszikus ovációról, amit mindenki ismer és értékel. A gitár jó minőségű, Made in China, ami nem hagy teret a hibáknak. Jól felszerelt kulcsok és jól elkészített felületek. A dobozból kivett gitár hangosan és jól beállított akcióval jelenik meg, egyszóval problémamentesen játékra készen. Ezen a ponton kíváncsi vagyok, milyen az amerikai minőség, ha az ázsiaiak már magas szinten vannak!
