The Ultrabreathe is a lung trainer, which is particularly suitable for practicing and maintaining the right breathing technique for brass musicians, but can also be used to warm up the respiratory muscles
The mode of operation is based on the principle of resistance
When breathing in and out, the respective resistance stimulates the respiratory muscles to work harder, building strength and endurance, already a few minutes a day can help
The item cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (AGB §4 paragraph 5)

An excellent breathing exerciser. You can adjust the resistance for both breathing in and out so you can create the way you breathe and play your instrument or set it up for a more intensive training workout.
I find this very useful in preparation for playing and for staying in shape when I am on holiday with just a few minutes every day.

It's a saliva collector and only speaks german

Actually it works pretty well

I'm using it for 2 weeks now. All resistance is adjustable. Although the resistance for breathing out is somewhat tricky. It's meant mainly for improving inhaling strength
The construction is simple. You can take it apart completely and clean it 100%. This is really good and important.
You really have to read the instructions to understand how to train. But the instructions are only in German! There is a small booklet with a lot of information but the only language is German. You have to use a translator tool.

When training your saliva will start collecting inside. If you lean your head down during training the saliva will spill on the floor.
The mouth piece is really big and wide for me. It's not too big but it's a little uncomfortable.

After a couple days I noticed my breathing got a little easier and I feel more relaxed.
I bought this for general well being and to get more push in my speach and singing. I'm not a wind instrument player. I don't have any medical problems.

It does the job well. After using it for a prolonged period I can already tell the difference in my VO2 max

El aparato está fabricado con muy buenos materiales y ajustes. No tiene muelles, con lo que prácticamente no tiene piezas sometidas a desgaste considerable, y se puede desmontar y lavar en su totalidad. Sin embargo, las instrucciones están sólo en alemán, idioma que afortunadamente he estudiado. Si no, sin duda lo habría devuelto, porque creo que no es presentable vender un producto a un cliente internacional con las instrucciones tan sólo en la enrevesada lengua de Goethe. Por lo demás, mi experiencia con productos Thomann sigue siendo excelente y digna de recomendación.
