Meinl 06" Benny Greb Practice Pad

This is a great small practice pad. I use it at home to practice rudiments and for warmup before gigs. At home it put it on a cymbal stand (works like a dream) and before gigs I put it to the Meinl Knee Pad Mount or on a table.

The feel is very good in this pad. With this pad you can definitely hear if you are playing a bit sloppy, because the sound is very short and should I say snappy, so it's great to practice your accuracy with this. On the other hand it might make this pad just a bit louder than the others (just a little bit), but you get a better feel and more definition.

Since this is such a small pad, it doesn't work when you put it on your snare, because it will slide and creep away from the center. I guess that this is the case with all the small pads, so if you want to use your pad on your snare, get a bigger model.
