I bought three of these for club-gigging. Initially I was bit worried what the sound quality would, but first test run was nothing but jaw-dropping. Nope, these ain't HIFI-monitors, but sound is very clear and straight-forward. Lack of bass wasn't an issue, speakers supply enough thud on ~100-250hz range. Pushing signal simply threw LOTS OF DB's, more than my ears could bear. Sound never cracked, it played without distortion even on high volumes (and we are talking of over 110db meter away). It's apparent that these elements were made to serve loud if necessary.
One of the most surprising features was how good single speaker sounded on multiple listening positions. Singer/player can easily move ~1m any direction without any issues, and even 3m back without sound changing significally. Moving ~2-3m to left or right dimished sound just the amount I was hoping for, so that the next monitor would pick up it's zone.
On the other hand I have couple of minor issues to mention. One is what someone else here mentioned: Signal-level is hot if you are using balanced cable. You need to make level adjustments with small touches, as full range is running between 0-25% knob-area. On unbalanced this ain't a problem.
For myself the bigger issue is the amount of static noise when raising the level. These ain't quietest monitors and there isn't any gating built-in. When putting ~50% volume you can easily hear static hissing noise, which isn't too annoying, but I had hoped just a bit more quality on this area. It's just something I wouldn't be expecting from ~400€ speakers.
Still, you can imagine the face of band player carrying ~15kg personal monitor to stage, while I was carrying three of these like coming from grocery store. While having sturdy build, these monitors are just amazingly light and multiple can be carried at the same time with easy-to-use handles.
Most likely going to buy one or two more.
