I bought lot's of this cable for all sorts of connections - from short adapter cables to replacing headphone cords and signal lines for electrical sensors. This fits perfectly into the superb angled neutrik 3,5mm mini jack.
It's easy to strip with a professional automatic wirestripper, both the outer and the inner isolation. soldering is good, but don't apply heat too long or the insulators can melt (but slower than on lot's of very cheap cables). Only the synthetic strands are hard tu cut with less than ideal tools - the scissors of swiss army knives are very helpful here.
Basically all my adapter cables for non-symmetric signals use this cable to adapt to an XLR, which let's me have almost any connection I need.
