You will get exactly what you paid for, not more, not less. Fairly priced instrument that sounds excellent, and is very well made. This is what a guitar at this price point should be. There are other brands that offer less quality for the same price. So, no complaints.
Some describe Stanford guitars as being comparable to expensive brand names, but it is true only to an extent. It does not have the feel or "vibe" of a premium instrument, even if it sounds like one, and even if there are no cosmetic or technical flaws whatsoever.
But overall, it sounds fantastic, P90 pickups don't need upgrading, looks beautiful and doesn't leave much to be desired. If you were after a premium instrument, you would have to pay at least double as much, for not that big of a difference.
