Roland Jupiter-Xm

Jupiter XM non è un giocattolo. E' un vero synth, ed una ottima emulazione del vero Jupiter. Il suono è caldo, corposo, i tappeti avvolgenti, la tastiera molto piacevole da suonare, pur essendo un tasto mini (la lunghezza è leggermente superiore allo standard). Il display purtroppo è davvero piccolo e la programmazione su pannello è difficoltosa anche quando si prende dimestichezza con gli articolati menu e sottomenu. La costruzione è solida, per nulla plasticosa (lo si sente anche dal peso). I vintage filters offrono poi anche una ottima scelta per il gusto analogico che si vuole dare al suono finale, coprendo una spettro sonoro di tutto rispetto, sia sui lead che suoni più graffianti, oppure gli orchestrali, evolving pad, ecc

Conclusion
As a user with background in MC Sequencers, Juno,TR 707,808,909, S 770, E-series and D-series synths, Jupiter-XM is like it's prescesors with modern approach.

It's hard to find a better synthesizer from Roland than the Jupiter XM.
Roland put all its soul and passion into this instrument.
Its development was personally guided by the President of the company and you can feel it.

A great portable synth. I'm interested in ambient music, and Roland Cloud offers awesome sounds for that. The cool thing is that the Zenology softsynth allows you to design extremely complex sounds on the computer and then play them on the Jupiter Xm synthesizer. And also vice versa. Great! It is also cool to be able to send sounds from the Cloud to the synthesizer using the phone and the WC-1 Wireless Adapter.
The small instrument is very convenient to use with larger midi keyboards. Each of the four synths on the Jupiter Xm can be played using a different midi channel.
