Bought this set in December 2019 for our drummer.
The main reason we picked this set was the nice mate finish which, by the way, looks way better in real life :)
The sound was what I expected from Pearl: beautiful, robust, expressive; can play from jazz to metal core. The stock heads sound very good, they tune in easily.
Now, time for the Only Con:
Pearl lost quality of the hardware. There is a big difference in hardware between what they sold 5 years ago for the same price or even cheaper!!!
The new hardware feels....unreliable and toy like. This is why I gave 4 stars for quality: the newer models are more expensive compared to the past and with cheaper hardware.

Utilisation en location avec des concerts de Gospel, animation de mariage........
En le déballant, on sent déjà la qualité de fabrication de la batterie, les accastillage, les futs, les hardwares.....
Coté son , c'est du déjà du régal avec leur peau remo pré monté mais après quelque concert vu que les batteurs notre pays ont l'habitude de taper trop fort, j'ai mis du Evans black chrome spécial gospel à leur place , ça a sonné trop bien avec des bonnes attaques , que du bonheur de les entendre via les façades avec des enceintes actives.
Je penserai rajouté un Tom 8'' prochainement pour completer le kit.

Das Decade Maple von Pearl überzeugte mich als mein erstes eigenes Schlagzeug (spiele seit ca 7 Jahren) komplett. Der Aufbau war einfach und ich konnte dabei keine Schäden an den Einzelteilen erkennen. Die Verarbeitung und das Aufbauen ist einfach Top und mit der "Standard S. Brown" Ausführung sieht es einfach klasse aus. Das Auge hört eben mit ;)
Klingen tut es auch gut, obwohl ich nicht der Beste im Stimmen bin. Besonders gefällt mir der Klang vom 10" Tom. Die Snare hat für meinen Geschmack zu viele Obertöne aber das kann man mit Hilfsmitteln beseitigen.
Rundum ist es ein echt tolles Schlagzeug und sehr zu empfehlen!

Referitor la tobele Pearl Decade Maple pe care le-am achizitionat de la Thomann , sunt foarte multumit de felul cum suna cat si de felul cum arata! Calitatea este ireprosabila si nu regret decizia luata.
