Wonderful budget guitar but required a little work to set up

I bought this guitar a few months ago. And I am very happy with my purchase in general.
It is a beautiful guitar, with a gorgeous finish, especially the deep red wood on the back.
The cutouts in the back panel make for easy adjustments of the springs of the floating bridge. Same goes for replacing strings.
The controles feel very solid and have a great feel to them. The pickup switch and split coil knob feel snappy And the knobs have a nice smooth resistance to them. They won't move unless intended.
I haven't encountered a single sharp edge on the frets and feels wonderful to play.
Sound is something very subjective. All I can say is that I enjoy the tone of this guitar. I only have good things to say about this.
However there are a few things I encountered that should be noted but certainly should not take away from the joy I had playing this guitar.
- The strings: The strings that come with this guitar are okay at best. They have a good tone but are stiff and corroded very fast. I recommend replacing them fairly quickly.
-The bottom strap button came loose very early on. Luckily it didn't drop on me while playing. Nothing some basic tools couldn't fix...
-The setup: I recommend learning how to set up your guitar to your liking. Out of the box, this one was very uncomfortable to play, with a very high action, badly intonated and a not so ideal truss rod setting.
I don't blame Harley Benton for this. It just happens due to environmental factors and shipping. They do however include the tools to fix all of these issues yourself.
With a few adjustments, I couldn't wish for a better guitar at this price range. I recommend it to anyone who won't shy away from putting in a little time to adjust it to their preferences.
Congratulations to Harley Benton for making this wonderful instrument.

Wonderful surprise.

I bought this guitar after a sound guy busted the neck of my Gibson style tokai. My other guitar is a fender strat, and I was looking for a hybrid of the two, and this looked like it fits the bill.
When I got this guitar the first impression was that it looks way better than in the photos. Great start! It also feels great holding and handling, but it sounded a bit underwhelming out of the box. Also, the volume knob was noisy the first time I played it (but that went away quickly). but after strings change, setup, and replacing the pickups from my now deceased tokai, this guitar looks great, feels great, sounds great, and the price is really unbelievable.
I would say, definitely get it, and use the extra money you saved to buy killer pickups and you've got a great guitar.
