Pickup and Pre-amp for Acoustic Guitar

Combines the easy installation and warm, transparent sound of the Rare Earth humbucker with a soundboard body sensor for percussive playing elements and natural dynamics for guitarists of all styles
The Blend control mixes the signals of the Rare Earth and the Tap Sensor in mono or routes both signals to separate channels via a stereo cable. This feature allows you to add separate effects, volume and EQ to each pickup.

Pick-up mounting in sound hole and body
Fits in sound holes with a diameter of at least 92 mm
The pre-wired output jack can also be mounted as an end pin jack
Miniature preamp integrated in the pickup
Control: Tap/Pickup Blend Control
Power supply with: 2 x 1.5 V silver oxide or 1 x 3 V lithium batteries
Pickup dimensions (L x W): 64.5 x 17.3 mm

DON'T BUY THIS!!!!!Rubbish quality and service of after sold

i hate thomann and fishman 15.06.2022

The price of this pick up is higher than other famous brand eg: K&K, LR Baggs. First i buy this as the reason of this pickup can collect the percussive sound good.after i install and use it around 30mins,one of the pick up volume suddenly drop down.i think maybe is the original battery ran out so that i brought a new battery .After that same problem happen within 3 days.i told this to the guitar shop and the repair guy said is the hardware problem not related to the install process.I return this product and request for refund / replace a new product.Thomann don't accept and just arrange me a new repair service .after waiting for half month i received it.the letter from thomann said that they test it 20min and notthing happen so they just sent this back for me.ARE YOU GUYS BLIND?i describe the problem detaily and wait for a long time.This is the final result what i got.such a terrible shit drama.

Lots of taps, no feedback

I bought this after trying a combination of soundboard transducer and fishman rare earth humbucker. it was a great combination that gave me the kind of sound that I wanted, but it also gave me huge amounts of feedback.

The Power Tap promised the same level of soundboard sensitivity but in a system designed for the purpose. it works really well - but I've lost some of the detailed top-end that I was getting from the transducer pickup. Taps sound great.

All in all, I think this is a fantastic pickup for anybody who hits their guitar, but it might be lacking in a tiny bit of nuance for anybody who doesn't need tap noises. For the ultimate, Fishman should wire in a mic with a 3-way blend - or maybe humbucker on one channel with a blend of tap/mic on the other channel.

Fishman's PowerTap Earth pickup is exactly what they hype it up to be. Sporting and incredibly precise magnetic soundhole pickup and a warm and strict bodytap sensor, the pickup Picks Up (hah) everything that you do on your guitar. Would buy for every guitar I have, but most of them come with one included!
Delivery was also stellaron Thomann's part, no damage or delay, which earned them a new, loyal, overseas customer!
