Well.. its a beyer so its build pretty well. Its small, thats good, rejection is really good. And then the good part stops.
Compared it on a floor tom with SM57, MD-421 (vintage) and SE v7x.
It fell though like a brick. Its pure mid range, no real low end that is usable, unless you REALLY tweak the EQ. It sounds like a stick hitting a table. After all the good reviews I was very disappointed. Will stick with my current favorite SE v7x.. tons og lovely low end, and enough high end with a little EQ, and bleed is as good af the TG51.
I MIGHT have caught a dud, but I dont have time to try more than one. And that sounded like .. well.. bad!
Cant recommend it. No problem with the usual super return policy a thomann. Thanks. But the sound: not good. Might work on guitars though.
