I was struggling at the rehearsals with cables, since we are using livetrak and headphones. And I wanted to have freedom to move around freely with guitar.
After reading some reviews i ordered xvive. Its small and lightweight. Easy to setup, just plugin receiver and transmitter and then power on and you are ready to go. If you experience interference, just change the channel. If you still have artifacts, place them further away from your wifi etc sources. I use irig hd and with that placement is important due quite short irig cable from ipad.
Prduvt includes cable to charge devices simultanously. Micro usb type which is not that neat like usbc or lightning which are symmetric and easier to plug. I understand that since apparatus is using li-ion batteries, its life span is limited to 3-5 years until batteries wears out. I dont think you can replace the batteries. Yet, its good value device.
Regarding sound, its very good. I cant tell much difference from cable. Maybe some compression happens. Latency is very short. When I record with mac, then I just use cable since latencies stack up from various sources too much.
Chappers convinced me, and he was right!
