The sound Dominant brings is quite neutral. I found the G string's gauge a bit too big for my finger, and therefore the G string has slower response and requires more effort from the fingers ( compared to Pirastro Tonica that I now have on my violin). The strings went false pretty quickly after 2 months. I put them on in mid April 2020 and by end of July, they are just completely dead (1h practice everyday). If you want a safe choice, go with Dominant. One thing that I don't quite get is why wouldn't Thomastik make all the string threads (at the ball end) the same color? They look rainbow-like. I'd prefer matching end threads on my string to stay low-key.
