Hard to find
This plug is really hard to find. I use a Thomann Wireless System and one from AKG. They both use these connectors. As I damaged one of the standard cables, I tried to replace the plug. The normal electronics stores don't sell these Mini XLRs here!
Fortunately, Thomann also provides them. Price is ok but the quality is not as good as normally known from thomann. The plastic inside doesn't really fit perfectly and one has do do a few adjustments.
The pins are set like always but due to it's small size, one could experience problems in reading the numbers for the pins (it's also hard to put in the cable but that's also a problem because of the size).

Top quality, as usual!
After years of battering, the cable from my AKG wireless system gave up the ghost, this plug is probably of higher quality than the original. Excellent!

its a plug what can say!
good quality and did the jod in converting a standard XLR to fit the new LD Systems Wireless instrument system for our trumpet player.

I used it to make a cable for my AKG headphones to have a shorter cable when needed, I used this an a Rean NYS 231 L and Sommer Cable Cicada and...perfection!
It is a bit pricey though, that's why 4 Stars.

Bought this to modify my stock DT990 headphone cable after I did a mini-xlr conversion for it. It's ok but the strain relief doesn't really relieve strain which has got me worried that the cable might need to be redone in the not too distant future

Very good
I got this to extend the lead on a wireless system for my guitar as the original lead was too short for me.
This connector works fantastically, and has been working well for 5 months. I'm very happy with this product.
