Great case

I love this case! SKB in general is a bit more expensive than Hardcase or any other drumcase manufacturer, but is totally worth the money in my opinion.

These are not telescopic cases (there is always extra space between the case and the drum) which I love the most: you can leave them under other cases and you still don't have to worry about pressure against your drum, as the case takes all the beating. With telescopic - one 14" snarecase fits all 14" snares - design you can't stack as much stuff on top of your case.

SKB cases also have fabric all around the interior of the case. In my case it hasn't shown any wear yet, and I'm very satisfied with it.

Case also has only one big strap that goes around the whole case, which means less hassle and great durability.

SKB D5514 14"x5,5" Snare Drum Case is the best drum case I owned in 20 and something years drumming and travelling all over the world. Reliable, solid, easy to open-close and very safe under reasonable heavy handling and manipulation on airports or on the road.
