This piano is just wonderful. I want a digital piano at home and this one fulfills almost everything I need. If you are into piano playing, than this review is for you.
When we talk about budget piano, we usually think of some low end piano that lacks of features. But for the price, Roland FP-10 just wow you with the specs it delivers.
I love the sound of this piano better than any other piano I review. There are many clips on Youtube which will tell you better than I do, so you decide for yourself. As to me, the FP-10 sounds more natural than some, but it is a matter of taste.
The key touch is the best part of this piano. The PHA-4 key action is amazing. It feels very close to an acoustic piano keyboard. The ivory feel give it a high class look and feel. It just keeps you coming back for more and maybe that is all you need. This is the most important thing. Because the with the sound, you can plug in some app and change it, but you cannot do so with the keyboard.
Although there is more to talk about, my goal is just to play piano. I don't care about mixing or having many sounds sample. This piano is not for a producer or a beat mixer since it is not made for that. If you are a pianist then I supposed the piano is enough.
Cons: Now come to the part that I don't like. Since this is a budget piano, you don't get wooden keys, and plastic sucks. There is no fix for this unless you purchase a high end piano with wooden keyboard. There are many people that can live with digital piano, but I tell you it just cannot compare to an acoustic piano.
But, it is a good piano to practice daily at home. In this price range, you cannot get anything better than this. Not to mention that it looks absolutely stunning :)
