Good bag, but hard to store

I bought it to carry my electronic drum kit around.

The bag itself is well built and feels sturdy. That is incidentally the biggest issue in it also - it is VERY stiff and thus hard to store when it is not in use. It takes A LOT of space because it cannot be folded or bent, and the bag itself is huge in size.

It has plenty of compartments for storing individual drum pieces firmly and safely. The outside material is also very thick, so anything short of a sword will have a hard time to puncture the bag. You can remove compartment walls (attached with velcro) to make some more space for bigger things.

However, you cannot fit your drum pedals into this, even with a medium size e-drumkit (Alesis DM10 Studio, in my case), so you will need a separate bag for the pedals.

The carry straps are very strong also, and will probably not break anytime soon. Overall very good quality.

Laukku tekee juuri sen, mitä varten se on valmistettu. Niin hyvässä kuin pahassa.

Laukkuun mahtuu kokonainen sähkörumpusetti telineineen päivineen ja antaa suojan niille kuljetuksessa tulevia kolhuja vastaan. Muutamaan sivutaskuun mahtuu piensälä, nuottivihot sun muut tilpehöörit.

Ergonomialtaa laukku ei ole parhaimmasta päästä. Laukusta löytyy parit kantokahvat pitkiltä sivuilta sekä olkahihna. Olkahihna on mielestäni melko turha sillä jos laukun pakkaa täyteen, niin laukusta tulee liian painava, jotta olkahihnaa voisi käyttää. Lisäksi fyysiset mitat ovat sen verran isot, että olkahihnaa käytettäessä kantaminen on hankalaa.

Muutaman vuoden ollut aktiivisessa käytössä ja vielä ei ole laukku mennyt rikki.

Spacious bag for electric drum sets

I bought the Millenium MPS 450 e-drum set and needed a gig bag for it. This product was compatible with the drum set.

The bag is incredibly spacious: the entire drum set fits in there without any problems. With careful planning, the drum stool (Millenium MDT4) also fits in the bag (when disassembled). However, when the drum stool is included, the bag is completely full, and the notable tear and wear is exposed on the zippers of the bag. So, to ensure a long lifespan for the bag, I would recommend leaving the drum stool out.

The bag has also three spacious side pockets that are suitable for drum sticks, instruction manuals, tools, sheet music, and cables.

When fully packed, the total weight of the bag is around 35 kg. Due to the heavy weight and the large dimensions of the bag, it is very difficult to lift and carry the loaded bag alone (by a single person). Make sure to have another person help you in the lifting and carrying!

All in all, the bag does its job very well. I don't yet have any experience on the long term lifespan of the product, but it has served me well on four occasions where I had to transport the drum set to a concert venue. I am quite sure that the zippers of the bag might be the first ones to break in the future. That's why it is important not to overload the bag in such a way that you would need to use force when closing the zippers.

Huippuboxi sähkörummuille. Säädettävät osiot bädeille ja aivolle ovat hyvät. Vieressä hardware osio, eli pikku setti liikkuu turvallisesti tällä laukulla. Työnjälki ok ja kestää, mutta ei verrattavissa hard casen antamaan suojaan. Suosittelen. Hinta laatu suhde erinomainen.
