Tungsten-Halogen or LED?

Purchased to replace the tungsten-halogen versions of this product, I now wish I had originally gone for this more expensive version. Much brighter, and without the largely redundant dimmer pot, I expect this LED version to be a lot less expensive to run with no need for the constant replacement of bulbs.

Great lamp

I have been using Littlite lamps for over 20 years now, and they are extremely reliable.
Bought this one because of it's long gooseneck so that I can adjust the light as I need it on my rack. White light is quite strong and could be easily used as a reading lamp if one would wish so :-)
Red light is a bit dimmed, but that is the whole point of the red light.
Really recomended!
