It works just as well as you'd expect: anything from clean boost to *almost* distortion and this pedal has you covered. Sure, there are cheaper over drives which do basically the same thing, but they are not the original and therefore they do not have MOJO. Now, don't laugh, because Mojo is a real thing. Because you know the equipment has mojo it will make you up your game a bit and as a result you will play better thanks to mojo. Considering this pedals' legend-status it has oodles of mojo! (If you don't need mojo, buy Mooer Green Mile as it will get the job done but without the mojo-boost). The only complaints I have about this unit are the price tag(mojo is expensive), the adapter cable(yes, that's how the originals rolled, but a re-issue could have engineered out this unnecessary Achilles' heel) and then the California P65 warning printed ON THE UNIT ITSELF stating I will get birth defects from it. Seriously Ibanez is not american, the pedal isn't made in america, it's shipped worldwide... let the Californians slap a warning sticker on the package before filling the shelves if their law requires it. The rest of the world should not have to read this nonsense! TL;DR - Sounds great! Has mojo!
