I use this interface to record analogue synthesizers straight into DAW software, in my case FL Studio. I also use it as the main soundcard of my PC.
The sound is great: it's dynamic, accurate, and I don't hear any hiss or other noises. The lights at the front change their colour based on how loud the signals are, so you know when you need to turn down the volume. Really low latency when recording, so low that it could be even used at a live performance.
This version has 8 inputs, which should be enough for anyone who's not planning to record a whole orchestra at once. And a generous amount of outputs too. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that it doesn't have optical connections.
The knobs are decent and the plugs feel sturdy, the casing also looks good. The whole thing is really lightweight though, which is sometimes a bad sign. I honestly expected it to be heavier, since quality usually weighs. But maybe it's not relevant with audio interfaces.
Probably the best choice in this price range.
