Don't let the price fool you!
I was looking for a simple parlor guitar without electronics or extra features. I decided to give this guitar a go, mainly based on the cheap price.
I had read a ton of good reviews which I naturally took with a pinch of salt. They were all around positive. Must be paid endorsments or something. You don't get quality with this low a price, right?
But man, was I positively surprised when I received the guitar. The sound was beautiful, way more than I had expected. The guitar was easy to play, the strings were fresh and really great sounding! The bridge was perfectly intonated and apart from tuning the strings it was good to go!
The low price is evident in the lack of finer details that you may find in pricier guitars. The tuners are very simple, but they work very smoothly and seem to be rugged enough. Frets are finished pretty ok, I may need to polish them soonish (I don't like the roughness when bending), but the fret ends are filed nice. The fretboard markers are minimal and of plastic, if I had to guess. Joins are clean and well made as is the finish. No complaints there. Pickguard is glued true and well.
Everything is plain and simple. Fortunately that is the way I like my instruments!
This guitar is definitely worth checking out, especially if you don't need fancy abalone inlaywork or other such embellishments. Great sounding parlor guitar with crazy low price for the quality and sound!
