A simple and good sounding analog delay. Take note of the trimmers inside!
This is probably the best-sounding affordable analog delay I have used (delays with PT2399 chips are not really analog). The repeats are nice and long enough for what I'm using it for. The blend-control can be a little confusing at first, since fully CW it only plays the delayed signal.
However, you might have to play around with the internal trimmers. When I got mine, the depth of the modulation was set up pretty awful (labelled MOD DEPTH). It was way too deep and seasick-y. Dialling it back a little made all the difference, and now I prefer to have the modulation on all the time. I also played around with the unity gain trimpot, since at my preferred blend setting the pedal was giving a little too much volume boost.
Just be sure you know what trimpot you are adjusting, or you might mess up the BBD chip bias!
I also had to open up and clean the mechanical connections of the footswitch, since it had started acting up after three years of use.
