The UMC22 is great for the money but it's unacceptable that it doesn't have its own drivers. You have to use the ASIO4ALL free universal ASIO driver which results in a whole lot of crashing (couldn't get it to work in FL Studio at all, in Tracktion it worked in about 1 case out of 5) and the latency is horrible. Tried on 2 PC's with different hardware, same result. Behringer used to make a driver for the old version of the UMC22, but those are unusable now that they revised it with new hardware that is uncompatible with the old driver.
Otherwise it's great. The preamp sounds nice and construction is sturdy. I'd like a separate volume control for the headphone and monitor outputs but I guess they have to save money somewhere to sell this for as cheap as they do.
Feels like money wasted. There's a Finnish saying that applies here: A poor person can't afford to buy cheap stuff.
TL;DR: Hardware is great, software doesn't exist. Spend a bit more on a Steinberg or Focusrite interface.
