I bought this DI to have grab the raw signal past my poweramp for using with impulse responses and for that it seems to do it's job. In the future I probably have use for it in tracking bass or seperating clean unfiltered guitar to my DAW while still playing thru distorted amp.
Build quality seems rugged and not likely to break unless intentionally abused. What I don't like is the battery compartment being really small, so that battery is hard to get out at times. I had to use pliers to pull the 9volter out and damaging the battery case like this doesn't seem like a good idea.
This next part wasn't a problem for me, but I'm really not happy that the manual is wrong. It says and show the right product, but the layout section talks about cab simulation that isn't in this product, input jack is labeled as gnd lift button, xlr output is supposedly input, battery compartment labeled as thru jack and not a single one of the part is labeled correctly. All the parts are correctly in the product itself and you can find correct manual online so it's not that big of a problem, but makes you think that if they messed up this so bad, what else might they have missed?
