Very disappointed :-/

I've bought this tweeter for a custom bass cab I was building... it ended up sounding decent but the quality is so low that the thing created a strange rattle when I played thru the cab. Had to modify the routing for a different tweeter. :-(

Pretty good.

Used in my 1kw per side sound system. In series with 2 "power line" peizos, (3 piezos in series) . The old power line started crackling after 12 years of disco abuse at high volume. The mpt 177 is still (on test) if it blows, it blows, but after 3 all night discos it still sounds good, I hope it's gonna be OK.
I cannot find much hook up info on it, but wired in series, piezos seem to last OK, sharing the load in series, being in series also seems to soften "that piezo sound" a little.
I don't push my ears against them, I judge the over all sound and its as good as before when on the amps limits.
Thomann got it to my home in 3 days. At almost 1/2 the price of ebat or amadon.

Excellent for slap bass (upright!)

This is the double piezo tweeter that is also used by Peavey UK in their Eurosys series speaker enclosures. I use it as a slap reproduction speaker for upright (rockabilly/swing) bass. While it's a piezo element with relatively high impedance, you should, in theory, be able to just hook it up in parallel with a (bass) speaker / woofer. I use a simple capacitor/resistor high pass filter thoug. A great feature of this tweeter is it's shape: while is is a retangle (rather than round), it's much easier to install in bass enclosures.
For rockabilly slap bass, these tweeters are GREAT. I would not recommend them for full range speaker enclosures where you want more than very high frequencies, better invest a little more in e.g. Peavey 14XT or 22XT drivers.
but that's not what I bought 'm for).
