It's good that it has holes so you can guide headphone cables the way you want. The wavy edges are nice for placing drum sticks when you're done practicing. I wish it was a bit more sturdy when attached to a cymbal stand, it's not really for leaning against, but this is a small remark. The hooks that are provided are a bit too small I think, maybe it's good for in-ears but I use headphones so maybe a bigger hook could have been provided.
Anyway this is a good product for it's price, it solves my problem of putting my phone on my floortom when practising..
