The TL2030 is designed for the top of the range 2000/2030 boom cymbal stands & cymbal holders (bc/ch/Chc).
I have the older bc2000 & ch2000 models.
I bought this TL2030 because I wanted to rig up my bc2000 boom cymbal stand to take 3 splash cymbals. (I already had one extra gyro lock tilter).
What you require is a bc2000 or bc2030 and 2 extra TL2030s.
To do this , you move the knurled internal bar out of the weight bar tilter so that it sits horizontally. You can then put the extra 2 TL2030s in the middle & at the other end to the existing Gyrolock tilter that came with the cymbal stand/holder.
The benefit of all of this is flexibility in positioning your cymbals because you have less cymbal stands cluttering up the floor or less clamps cluttering up your drum rack.
The TL2030 is a great tilter because it has a wide range of movement and the cymbal sleeve is built into the top screw so your cymbals are always protected from keyholing.
Pros - flexibility & space saving.
Cons - can be a wee bit fiddly when working with 3 tilters on one cymbal stand/holder.

Pearl hardware is the best and this is no different. Perfect piece of gear to add a splash cymbal to the BC-2030 boom stand without adding to the stand count. Not inexpensive but the right tool for the right job.
