K-Tek Stingray KSF6 Zoom F6 Bag

En bra väska till inspelaren gör saker och ting lättare! Både i form bättre skydd och smidigare hantering när man behöver vara mobil och rörlig. Väldigt bra kvalitet och konstruktion. Det känns som att den kommer att hålla i många år. Det tog dock ett par försök innan jag fick inspelaren att sitta så som jag ville. Det finns gott om ställen där man kan fästa upprullade kablar om man behöver det, tex något för lång hörlurskabel. Regnskyddet var smidigt att montera, men jag använder det bara om det är risk för lättare regn (vågar nog inte använda det om det öser ner), i övrigt är det lättare att låta det vara av. Inga problem att komma åt kontakter eller byta batteri/minneskort på inspelaren när den är i väskan. Faktum är att min F6a i princip bor permanent i väskan (med några få undantag). Remmen är väldigt lång, men den går lätt att rulla ihop och samla i en fastsydd snodd så det är inget jag stör mig på. Man kan ju på så sätt lätt välja om man vill ha den som midje/magväska eller axelremsväska. Om något så skulle jag önska att det fanns någon sorts lock eller transportskydd till fronten på väskan. Det händer att jag packar ner den i en ryggsäck eller annan större väska, och då känns F6ans front något oskyddad. Fixade dock till en enkel DIY-lösning med hjälp av några bitar liggunderlag och kardborrband. Inte snyggt, men det funkar. Vem vet, det kanske kan komma på en framtida modell eller som tillbehör till den befintliga väskan. Bra köp som underlättar användandet av min Zoom F6!

This is a good, compact option for carrying and protecting the F6, provided you don't need space to stow a load of receivers sync apparatus, batteries etc. I use it purely for sound field recording with NP-F batteries connected to its rear so this is perfect.

Reasonably rigid and good quality materials have been used.
All connections and doors on the device are easy to access. It sometimes a squeeze to get XLRs connected as the cushioning can get in the way.
It comes with a loose rain cover which allows use to operate the controls on the front while it is still attached. One end of this loops around the clip which holds the bottom flap and the down side of this is that if you want to remove the rain cover, the bottom will flap open and any loose items in there will fall out. Like with most of these types of bags, a simple non-rain cover would be a nice option so that it could be used as a normal bag.

The strap is primarily intended to be worn around the waist. This can be used as a shoulder strap but the balance is then a little off.

Includes a built-in flap that can be used to prop the case and device up at an angle for when it is used on a desk.

One of the drawstrings on the zips fell off so I would recommend glueing these in place to prevent this.

The waist strap is inordinately long so you may need to cut off the excess.

Unless you're using the Zoom F6 on a fixed location, a recorder bag is a must. I went with the KSF6 bag because I wanted to stick with the compact design trend of the F6. In some ways the Zoom F6 on it's own is too compact and it is all to easy to have the device slip from your grasp.

For me, the positives are the compact form factor and robust feel of the material. XLR ports and battery trays all remain easily accessible as well.

The only major letdown is that the bag doesn't come with a clear cover to protect the front of the recorder from the elements. Additionally a small booklet on how to best mount/use the bag would be nice.
