Gibraltar SC-268R BD Cowbell Mount

I bought this some months ago, so i've had plenty of time to try it out by now. It's pretty okay. It gets loose if you're a hard-hitter, or, if you are a maniac that does cowbell blasting (like me). The main gripe with the construction is the thin screw which tightens the mount to the bass drum hoop, it's simply too weak to hold a heavy cowbell that gets hit with a heavier stick (2b). But despite it's problems the price seems fair. I can't really see myself getting anything better for such a low price! If you plan on using the cowbell for latin grooves and lighter playing this mount will do just fine.
