I was after a low profile stereo Y-insert in order to take a single stereo TRS output from a guitar pedal and feed it into L-R 2x mono inputs on another pedal.
This does the job exactly as intended, and the flat cable makes it low profile - both at plug for compactness and for cable management! I'm also able to fit two plugs next to each other (e.g. stereo outs on a TC Electronic pedal), which I wasn't able to do with pancake plugs due to their width.
Very pleased - and can also therefore recommend other EBS patch cables for their quality and low profile, not just this Y-insert.
NB - also works in reverse, ie. splitting a single stereo TRS output into 2x mono. Seems obvious, but I've seen similar questions elsewhere so thought I'd note it here!
