I have postponed this review in order to get a clear perspective on this keyboard.
I have the YC61 for 3 months now and I couldn't get more excited with it.
If you have previously played on a full weighted keyboard (like I did), you may need an accommodation period as this one is lighter and responds differently.
PRO's:
- great sounds adjusted by the Tone / Filter / EQ,
- lighted draw bars,
- light weight and very easy to get it on the gigging sessions,
- fits very well under my desk.
CON's:
- fewer pads / atmospheric samples,
- when playing organ the 2nd octave is similar to the 1st one but more bassy and it sounds weird,
- if the keyboard is transposed you are not notified,
- not very easy to transpose with just one hand like you can do on the red keyboard.
Overall, the YC61 has the best sounds I have ever played on and I highly recommend it!
