I was looking for a small power supply which would fit under my Harley Benton Spaceship 50C pedalboard, which I use for acoustic gigs. I was using a daisy chain to power it, but was getting quite a bit of cycle hum, so I went looking for a solution with isolated outputs.
The board only has 4 pedals, but since one of those is a Boss RC-30 looper which requires about 195mA, I needed something which had a nice amount of juice per output.
So, after looking at several options, I found this Palmer PWT04. Seemed to tick all the boxes with four isolated outputs, and at a very nice price point, so decided to give it a go. My order took a few days to arrive since it wasn't in stock, but everything was sent on the date Thomann already indicated when I ordered, so nothing to complain there.
Unboxing it,I was already impressed. It's tiny and light, but solid. The cables supplied were very nice too. Nice and thick, and a decent length, if you pardon the double entendre. Hooked up my board, and it does exactly what it needs to do. No hum whatsoever, it's dead quiet. Even better, it fits snugly under the board.
Only downsides I can think of is that the cable from the wallwart to the unit isnt that long, and that there are no brackets supplied which allow you to mount it under your board. Not the biggest problems though. You can always bring extension cords and for mounting it I just put some velcro on it. The thing is light enough for velcro to hold for a long time.
Very happy with this thing, can only recommend it.
