Exactly What I Needed It For

I put together a mobile recording studio / live guitar rig and was housing it in a 6U rack with a drawer for my laptop. It was unwieldly, really heavy, and everything got in the way of everything else.

This solved my problems by giving me a laptop compartment separate from the rack and I was able to get my power conditioner, 18i20 interface, and my Axe-FX II all snug in the rack. There's even a nice gap at the bottom for airflow (and for the handle) and once I get my cable management in order everything will be in there with no moving parts.

The wheels and handle are a welcome bonus. Bringing this rig into the jam space or up the stairs to the show stage is a breeze, now.

Only complaint I have is the included screws and rubber washers are pretty low quality. I had a box of Rackworks screws that I had previously purchased and I would recommend getting some of those instead of using the ones included here.

Been looking everywhere for this!

This one was hard to find - took me some time. It also has a little brother; with 2 rack slots!
It's perfect for keeping my transportable studio!
Sound card, light pipe, laptop, rack effects and all the cabling behind.
Nice latches; sturdy construction all round!

Well worth the investment for anyone needing something quite compact and very mobile. Very spacious interior and well made. Butterfly clips could however be a little more hard wearing/heavy duty as they don't last very long with travel and being bashed about a bit.

I have my whole Karaoke system Installed in this and it is used 3 times a week. The wheels and handle are very robust and this makes loading in and out of a venue much easier
