A dream come true

I am basically a guitar player but the last 10 years I mostly used to play a Casio stage piano with just 10 sounds and some basic reverbs. I was searching for a long time my next piano. I was excited by Nord keys and their popularity to professional musicians although I am just a band member. I feel really satisfied with my choice. My sound was automatically changed with pianos and rest sounds that are unbeatable. I can easily set my personal sounds. Features like 2 piano + 2 synths layers in each program, live buttons for fast access to your favorite sounds combined by the known friendly access and knobs outstanding quality, transforms your perspectives as a keyboardist. I didn’t have the time already to listen to all Nord sound library but how easy was to get 2 more strings I wanted!! Last but not least, my choice for the 73 keys version was totally correct as I’m not playing classic piano songs so I gained the extra weight without losing something. The easy octave transfer and several keyboard split points are great features as well.

Eine wirklich gute Entscheidung !

Als gelernter Pianist war ich lange auf der Suche nach einem gut klingenden, einfach zu bedienenden und noch transportablem Stagepiano. Und ich habe es im Nord Piano 5 73 gefunden ! Zusammen mit dem Softcase ist es zwar einiges schwerer wie mein MODX7, aber die Sounds und die Klaviatur sind es definitv wert. Ich werde damit noch viel Freude haben.

Ich hatte bereits ein Nord Electro 3 und wollte nun eine Tastatur, die einem echten Flügel möglichst nahe kommt. Die Auswahl an Keyboards ist zwar groß aber aufgrund einiger Kriterien, kam ich doch wieder zum Nord. Qualität der Sounds ist einfach top. Verarbeitung top. Spielgefühl top. Der hohe Preis ist absolut gerechtfertigt und jeder Euro ist gut investiert! Alternativ hätte ich noch das Nord Electro 6 HP angesehen, allerdings ist mir von Thomann empfohlen worden, eher auf die Orgelsounds zu verzichten und stattdessen die höherwertige Tastatur im Nord Piano 5 zu wählen. Gesagt getan und absolut richtig entschieden!

Ein gutes Allround Stagepiano

Ein gutes Allround Stagepiano mit guter Verarbeitung und Bedienbarkeit.

Neben den gut bekannten Nord Piano Samples werden auch andere gute Klangpresets angeboten. Sehr gute “Bread und Butter” Sounds. Auch die Tastatur lässt sich gut bespielen.

Hervorzuheben wäre, dass im Gegensatz zu anderen Stagepiano eigene Samples importiert werden können.

Ein kleiner Nachteil ist meines Erachtens das fehlende eingebaute USB Audio Interface, welches andere Anbieter schon längst in ihren Stagepianos verbaut haben. Auch die Effekt Abteilung ist etwas eingeschränkt bzw. pro Layer nicht zuweisbar.

Fazit:

Trotz kleiner Einschränkungen ist das Nord Piano 5 eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
