I've tried a number of stick holders and this is the one I am happiest with. Feels very solid. Surely, it's because the tube is made of metal, and the clamp is made of sturdy plastic, which isn't a downside in fact since it does not scratch your hardware's chrome plating. You can adjust it to fit different diameters of tubes which makes it universal. The clamp holds perfectly and does not slip, once you set it up it stays there. As with other stick holders, you can set an angle which suits you. All in all, I can't see any downside to it. Also, the prominent Vic Firth logo looks cool in my opinion. I bought a second Vic Firth Caddy Stick Holder in fact, it is that good.
