But at these prices these are an absolute steal. I don't understand how people spend twice as much to get actually an inferior product. This is not to say that Floyd Rose or Schaller aren't good, they are. But Gotoh hardware kills everything BOTH for quality AND for cost. It's made in Japan to the highest standards. I have both Floyd Rose and Gotoh trems on my guitars, and am a pro on electric and classical guitar, so I am not just shooting my mouth off. The only problem is that the Gotoh has slightly longer back screws, BUT fortunately it fits fine on my guitars! Some people have to mill slightly the part on the back of the arm. But it's worth it! The whole thing really exudes the highest quality, the finish, the feel, the stability. And another thing, I bought several Gotoh parts, not just trems, and again the quality is second to none.
