I needed a flight case for a mixer, it was going to have a hard life in the back of a van so it needed to be extremely robust. I wanted to keep weight to a minimum too.
This case does all of the above and more, it's plywood construction reinforced with metal corners and rails mean this is rock solid. the rack can be sloped and locks into position to give you a comfortable working angle. the handles and butterfly catches are of excellent quality and the lip around the case helps keep dust and moisture out. The rack rails are easier to use than I expected than to the rubber strip behind the nuts, some mounting nuts and bolts are provided meaning you can get set up straight away. The location of the handler and the foam inside the lid ensure that your mixer wont get damaged in transit, the case is rigid and does not flex so you can pop this on a keyboard stand and not worry about your equipments safety.

Just place the lid back on and tighten the two butterfly latches and you are ready to go.

Excellent case for a goid price

I purchased this, along with the appeopriate rack mounts, to house a small Peavey mixer that we had been transporting in the original shipping carton. I am very happy with it; it is robust, not terribly heavy, and very convenient. What more can you ask for?

Not 10U!

Just now I tried and subsequently failed to put a rack mixer and graphic eq into one case. The rails won’t swivel because there is not enough room. Now I don’t know what to do. :(
