quite low pile

The rug is nice, but the pile is low and it is prone to curling on the edges. Will hold your kit no problem though.

I use this rug as part of a complete beginner kit with the MPS 850.
Pro's: Beautiful pattern, sturdy and well made, keeps electronic drum kit solid on the floor without slippage.
Con's: No con's for the product itself, packaging could be better (it was kinked a bit).

Fantastic cat friendly choice

I have a spare bedroom mixing-light recording room (good room treatment) and I was looking for a rug to tame some final bit of echoing along with diffusors, they did the work well together and as a nice bonus my studio assistant cutie (my 7 month old cat) can do his nails on it with no issues, matter of fact he loves it and he has stopped clawing the rest of my custom-made panels (thankfully). All around great choice and I will definitely be getting some for my living room as well.

I don't use this for a drum kit, instead, I have it over a wooden floor in my guitar room. It dampens the echo slightly, gives a nice feeling to walk on, and aesthetically it's great.
Have it a long time now and find it very hard-wearing. It will never be confused for a real Persian rug, but that's not what I wanted anyway.
