I got the Dark Time with my Dark Energy II, they make a nice combo. It's a very nice little sequencer, a bit on the expensive side but very well worth it I think. You get nice big controls, all very usable and practical. Also you get a nice retro feel to it, I think that is a big selling point because when your gear feels right, your vibe is right, so your music will be right. I rated the features neutral because it has all you need, but no luxury options as note duration or attack. But for that you easily go into the 700,-+ price range. All in all the Doepfer Dark Time is a good sequencer and I can only recommend it above everything else cheaper or around the same price range. One tip, if you like to time it just perfectly, you might consider getting an E-RM MidiClock+. With this you can set the bpm, click the button and go!
