Bought this for a traveling job I have now, to keep practicing on the road. Probably the best travel electric guitar you can buy, with some caveats.
Some compromises in this category of instruments is expected, as a smaller size is prioritised over best in class playability. The case is good, the low quality electronics are acceptable for a guitar in this price range.
However my copy arrived with a neck thats frets were so incredibly sharp that the strings caught under the edges of the frets, it rendered it unplayable until having the neck worked on. You may need to break out the sandpaper and gunshot oil/wax to get this to a playable state.
The body is coated in a extremely thick coat of polyurethane, to the point where it could almost be mistaken for plastic. Sounds good through the stock pickups, however do keep in mind that the pick guard on this model is a much smaller shape than most standard strat pick guards. If you plan to change the pickups in this for humbuckers (Which it can take as the cavity is fully open for multiple pick configs, not just sss strat), you will need to modified the pick guard as I have on my copy.
All and all a good buy, mildly playable out of the box depending on your copy, but buy knowing you may need to make a few adjustments to get it to a state where you are happy.
