In order not to have to carry my guitar around at festivals in its solid heavy case I decided to buy a Protec Gig Bag. It is light in weight, strong in construction, easy to carry and to date seems to be waterproof. The three outside pockets are a useful feature and provide enough storage for all the accessories I normally carry around.
The overall construction is very good, however it doesn't have the same bespoke quality as a Taylor Guitar soft bag but you wouldn't expect it to. The Protec Gig Bag has proved to be a very successful purchase and it has fulfilled my expectations.

Practical and durable

After starting to use Protec Deluxe gig bags I have completely given up those clumsy hard guitar cases. At least in situations when carrying the guitars by myself the gig bags are so comfortable and practical as well as give a sufficient protection with thick paddings. In my country the temperature goes below zero C in the winter and these bags are doing nicely even under those circumstaces.

Durable GigBag

I've used it for the last 8 years to carry my Art&Lutherie acoustic guitar.
Very comfortable to carry around when busking, offers a good protection to the instrument and the extra pockets are quite big, i was able to carry also some cables, a kalimba, some harmonicas and a melodica.
The little comparments inside the front pocket are not very durable, i used them to carry the picks but after few years the zip broke down.
