ottimo acquisto

Il mio primo Delay a pedale. Confrontandolo con altri pedali nella sua fascia di prezzo mi sembrava il più adatto a me. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto.

A great sounding pedal!
AGuitarPlayer 03.10.2019
I've used to have MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay which sounded really great, but few years ago it got fried because of the bad electric installations in the room where I've rehearsed with a band, and ever since I've yearned for that kind of warm sound of the delay. In the meantime I've used Line 6 DL4, but it was bulky, used too much space on the pedalboard and had way more options from what I needed (which is great if you are into tweaking and twiddling, but I prefer simple and straightforward 'easy-to-dial-in' controls), so finally I've decided to buy a small analog delay pedal. Just like we often do, I've stumbled on this pedal by accident, watched few reviews on YouTube (if you are interested, there is one great review of the pedal by Pete Thorn, he does it a great justice, but if you are reading this you've probably already did your homework :). I've liked what I am hearing, there were some interesting sounds you can get by tweaking ''tone'' and ''age'' knobs, plus it was a considerable cheaper than MXR Carbon Copy, so I've decided to buy it. When the pedal arrived, it sure didn't disappoint. Not only I was surprised by the front of the pedal having some backlighting which looks kinda cool, but more importantly it does exactly what is promises to do. The sound is warm and lush, and it can make cleans sound heavenly and very ''atmospheric''. With this pedal, I cannot say I miss my old Carbon Copy; Echosex has the similar warmth (and a greater delay time, if I am not mistaken), it has these 'tone' and 'age' knobs that can produce very interesting results regarding the sound, and all this for a considerable lower price, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great alternative.

Only thing I don't like is the location of the footswitch itself; it is somewhat too close to the knobs, I always feel like I worry too much when pressing the switch with my foot in the middle of playing afraid that I will scramble settings accidentally or something. So far it didn't happened (and perhaps the layout of the knobs and the switch was a necessary sacrifice to make such a compact pedal), but still I think it would be a much better solution to have more distance between the switch and the knobs.

But overall; a great pedal!

To add ambience to lead tones
Ebos 25.03.2021
Looks pretty slick, what you don't get to see in the pictures is that when it's plugged into power a light comes on inside. Makes it look like an X-Ray film. Knobs are pretty tight and responsive, feels good. Overall build quality is pretty good.

I got this solely to use lightly as an 'almost always on' flavoring on my lead tones. However for Gilmourish things and even further alternative music it works great.
