Amplificare la mia storica acustica? risolto!

Cercavo da tempo un pickup per la mia acustica Dreadnought dell'81.
Il Cypress si è rivelata un'ottima e poco costosa soluzione.
Per me suona molto bene, un bel suono acustico e rispettoso.
Unico difetto il cavo che pur di qualità non è plugged nel pickup ma fisso.
Ho risolto accorciando il cavo, facendolo poi passare all'interno e saldato a un jack al posto del bottone tracolla.
Sono molto soddisfatto.

Not for every Acoustic

I wanted to fit this to my rather ancient steel strung 'O' size guitar and this pickup (according to Fender) is one of the few all in one types that will go into its diminutive sound-hole which it does - unfortunately not with the clamping screws in place! Anyway its a very old cheap guitar so a couple of slots filed and in in went. Sound is great but for the 1st string which was way quieter than all the others - I use 9 to 42's. Tried it on a friends more modern acoustic with a (much) lower action and heaver strings and it was far better balanced. Certainly looks good in place, the captive lead is a bit annoying when playing and quite long to bundle up when not in use as the pick-up is not a quick fit/removal. If I was going to use this long-term I'd probably cut the lead and solder it to a body mounted socket. So not suitable for my old acoustic - then again it cost more than the acoustic is probably worth, so I'll put it to one side as I'm on the look out for a replacement acoustic anyway.

Since i bought a purely acoustic guitar last winter i needed some way to still get use out of my acoustic amp i had sitting around, its easy to attach by loosen/tighten the screws, even adjustable whether you want to amphesize the high or low string parts, the cable has a nice length and texture and sounds amazing! I've been using it almost exclusivly since theres no reason or need to detach it, very clean sound as expected by our all beloved Fender and just a great time! Definitely recommend it:)
