Last much longer than others

I added this to my purchase of the 5-string set as there is no 6-string option so i will just copy the same review i did there:

I have waited for months before writing this review as i was skeptical about the coating but i have been converted.

I do not play daily and my bass can spend many weeks unplayed in my closet and previous string would inevitably degrade quite quickly even like this. These string on the other hand still sound like new after months and i could not be happier.

Pros:
- good sound
- same "feel" as non coated strings
- last much longer

Cons:
- price
- no single set for 6-strings

I use Elixir strings for my 6-string fretless.
The strings are great. They sound great, the feel great, and they last a long, long time.

Quality top C string that lasts

I buy this to go with the 5-string set 14202 for my 6 string bass.

Elixir strings cost in terms of outlay, but with the lifespan they more than make up for it. I don?t expect to use anything else for some time.
