Classic metal sound

Very long waiting time for this, but it does produce the sound you expect. Don't get me wrong, this pedal has only two or three good sounds in it, so you need to know what you are buying, but you won't find anything better if that's what you want. It's aggressive, it's quieter than the original, and the custom mode gives you a little more gain and mids. I don't find that necessary, but it's good to have it depending on your amp of choice.
The only drawback this time was the packaging from Thomann, which is ususally very good. However, the pedal was sent to me in a larger box with no protection inside, so that the pedal box was free to move inside the larger box and it was sligltly damaged. The pedal itself arrived in perfect condition though.

Straight up chainsaw massacre

All the knobs at max and this thing can wake up the dead! Really loving it for what it is, a superb quality pedal for death metal riffs and guitar noises. Cannot get enough of it honestly

The re-release we've all been waiting for!

Made in Japan and built like a tank, this is the true Old School, Swedish Death Metal pedal, requested by fans of the genre for years.

The sound profile on Standard Mode is identical to the original pedal (when cranked on max), and the Custom mode just sounds a little bit more boosted to my ear, with fatter low end. Two things to consider though when using this pedal:

i) ALWAYS use a noise gate along with it, the pedal produces insane amounts of gain, especially paired with HHs made for extreme metal (tested on SD Nazgul passives), it's very noisy without one

ii) For my pet owner friends, your cat will hate you using this, there's some frequency produced that makes them run amok, unlike my normal amp sound . .
