R
gave up on PRS and Squire CV for this
Ravstar 19.12.2024
I am intermediate guitarist, and own a PRS Standard SE but ergonomically i can never sit and play this thing, so i decided to look for a ST guitar.

My shortlist included Squire Classic Vibe and Sire S3 or S7.
before the purchase online, I went to a store and tried the squire, the ergonomics and tone was good but the play-ability was not as good as my PRS this was due to the larger scale length. This put me off from both the squire and sire as they both have identical dimensional spec. Using Thomann filters I went for same scale length as my PRS or even shorter and bingo...I came across this ibanez, and MAN o MAN what a discovery...

The play-ability is so so smooth...plus the lighter strings makes it even smoother. For the price, this guitar is amazing...been 1 month and i have put the PRS away and am just jamming with this ibanez..paired with a tube screamer this thing is Awesome..

CON:
Really bad choice of colours. Ibanez please bring some traditional colours (i.e. sunburst effects)
