Quality storage for small equipment

I purchased this case for compact storage of the Rodelink Filmmaker Kit. I suggest you get something bigger, though (read the end)!

I recommend this case for its quality/price ratio. The case feels sleek and solid. In my opinion it does not feel cheap. There is no carrying handle that you normally see with cases like these, it is a very compact body.

It is great for storing small devices such as 2,5" hard drives or other memory units, as well as wireless lavallier kits that are close to the standard Sennheiser size. But if you have something larger, like the Rodelink, it will not fit properly.

I followed the specs and calculated that one case should exactly fit two units side by side (receiver and transmitter). The case's internal length was rated at 116mm vs the Rodelink's 111mm. However, it still did not fit as I had planned. I will now try to shave the inside plastic a few millimeters to make the units fit snugly against the plastic. If complete it will be a nice compact case, but it was not a user friendly solution.

If it doesn't work out, I can always repurpose the case.

I bought this to transport my Tascam DR40 recorder.
Its big enough to easily hold the recorder and a USB power supply as well as spare batteries and SD card.
It's very safe and robust and I've been using it for a few months and it's still good as new.
My only concern is the latch, as it seems more fragile than the box itself.
Having said that, for the money it's the best option and I would definitely buy more Flyht Pro Safe Boxes for other items in future.
