It was not my intention to buy this for myself but a UPS delivery went awry. Thomann very kindly sent a rapid replacement but the same day the replacement arrived the original - a gift for my partner - was dropped in our mailbox. I decided to keep the replacement. Every day now it is such a pleasure to open my violin case. Rather different from the dour black silk sleeve on my viola!

Une soie de qualité, aux couleurs vives, très douce au toucher, cousue à la main parait-il, avec en tout cas une très belle finition. Le décor est parfaitement réalisé. La taille est tout à fait adaptée à un violon 4/4. Notre petite fille va adorer son cadeau de Noël. Mon propre violon est tout brillant de plaisir, car j'en avais commandé une deuxième, à son intention. ;-)
