Budget and it sounds like it, built like a tank

These are pretty good headphones in term of isolation and even "head profile", as they are amongst the rare fully closed back ones that don't make your head look like an astronaut or a 1940s telegraphist. They are also of very sturdy build, made with good quality plastic - far better than what Shure uses, for example.
Comfort is not too good, as they sit comfortably around your ears but give quite a squeeze, so very long listening sessions may become painful, unless you have a small-ish, fish-like slim head.
The worst part is probably the sound: they have a really excessive low mid frequency boost in the 200-300Hz area, unclear low bass, pretty peaky 2-3kHz range and not much finesse in the highest frequencies.
Strangely, although this makes them totally unusable for mixing or fine listening, it doesn't make them completely useless, as they are very good for rock&roll band tracking and overdubs (because they are loud enough and tough enough and beef up the kind of sounds that a band needs when recording all together) or for simple tasks like basic radio interviewing or speech monitoring.
So, usable, well made, but nowhere near comfortable or reference.
