Je l’utilise en interface midi branchée sur l’ordi via le câble usb (fourni), elle peut également être utilisée en fonction merge/Thru de façon autonome (avec le cable usb pour l’alimentation), mais je n’utilise pas ce mode.
Cette petite midiface 4x4 a tout pour plaire, un petit boîtier avec un contour en métal, 4 prises à l’avant, 4 prises à l’arrière.
Elle est compacte mais bien protégé.
Une led rouge pour la connexion usb, 4 leds vertes pour les 4 entrées et 4 leds jaunes pour les 4 sorties, on ne peut plus simple et efficace.
Elle est Class compliant donc reconnu directement, testé sur MacOS et Windows10 sans aucun problème. Chaque port est vu comme une entrée/sortie particulière, ce qui permet de router les 4 e/s indépendamment.
J’avais été échaudé par des pertes de messages avec certaines cartes midi, là tout passe nickel, elle fait le job en se faisant oublier.
Les leds pour le monitoring sont bien lisibles et super utiles pour savoir d’où viennent et partent les flux midi.
Plus de problème midi dans le studio !
